Bangalore, July 21, 2010: Geodesic Techniques, a pioneer and leading provider of steel intensive structures in India, deployed over 8000 metric tonnes of structural steel while erecting Delhi's newly inaugurated Terminal 3 roof. The terminal encompasses over 22 acres of land and is the worlds second largest in terms of size and the sixth largest in terms of passenger capacity. Terminal 3 is designed to provide world class amenities and luxurious travel experience.

Mr. Srinidhi Anantharaman, Founder & CEO of Geodesic Techniques Pvt. Ltd and pioneer of steel structures in India said, "We are delighted to be associated with the state-of-the-art Terminal 3. Delivered in 12 months, the roof structure of Terminal 3 was a complex design and required a terrific amount of innovative engineering techniques. Today, airports have become key public utilities in India and we are working on a number of projects in both metro and tier II cities. In order to meet the short timelines and design intent, these projects will be steel intensive and capable of handling a huge capacity of passenger traffic.

Current airport projects include, Terminals in Rajahmundry, Indore, Kolkata, Raipur. Apart from these projects Geodesic Techniques have also built the steel portions of recently inaugurated Terminal 1C in Mumbai and the Terminal 1D in Delhi.
