subject: The 2010 Ford F-150s Massive 5.4L V8 Engine [print this page]

The next engine model in our lineup is the 5.4L V8. This engine is geared towards towing and hauling. It puts out around 310 horsepower, which is enough to pass virtually anyone on the highway. This thing also puts out a massive 365 ft lb of torque, which means you will be able to tow any trailer imaginable. Drivers of the F-150 with this engine can expect gas mileage numbers around 11 miles per gallon for stop-and-go traffic inside of the city, and 16 miles per gallon for straightforward highway driving. This engine represents the highest form of F-150 performance. It is also a carryover from the previous year. However, Ford has decided to do away with the flare-side and step-side models. Now people who want an F-150 will have to get used to the style-side model.
