It is very well known that a clean house makes you feel better than a dirty house. It is not a matter of size or age of the house but the cleaning condition. An old house that is maintained clean and neat will convey a better image than a new house that is dirty. Feel yourself good by cleaning the house. There are persons who suffer a cleaning anxiety disorder. You can identify them because they are always cleaning every object and surface they have contact with. They carry wet towels and cleaning gels in order to clean those objects and surfaces such as latches, chairs and tables. This is an extreme of a cleanness obsession behavior.

We do not need to be en the extremes as for cleanness. We just need to make a balance about the habits for cleaning as well as the places and frequency to clean. For example we need to mop our open areas, those areas that are visited by external people, once a day. That is because of the traffic density that conveys more dust to those areas.

Different areas inside the house require different cleaning treatment. Second floor rooms are rarely visited by external persons. Those areas need less frequency cleaning actions. Common areas are more prone to get dust and dirtiness, so these places require an analysis about the frequency to be cleaned up. Bedrooms are to be cleaned according to the experience and the taste of the family member.

These are minimum requirements for cleaning. If you are lucky enough to have cleaning assistance, then you can increase the cleaning frequency. It will provide you and your family a sensation of freshness. If there is more than one person in the family that regularly helps with cleaning tasks, then either you divide the tasks or you increase the frequency.

Regardless the frequency and the way you divide the cleaning task, the most important aspect is that at the beginning of the day you feel your house is clean enough to make you feel good. If that is not the case review the general cleaning process and people who participates in order to make slight improvements that can drive you to the desired results.
