Let me tell you how to cope up with a break up. It's hard isn't it? Your feelings are all mixed up. Your emotions are screaming and your heart is fighting what your mind tells you to do. It's really hard to put your attention away from the things that keep on coming back. Whether you like it or not, it will just stay there and keep bugging you all the time. It will make you cry, and sometimes make you do crazy things that are rather physically, mentally, and emotionally unhealthy. Stop drowning yourself with sadness. It will never help. You're allowed to feel that kind of sadness and loneliness and even emptiness for a while, but not forever! Let me tell you what to do. You can't cry it all out in just one night, so what you need to do is to give yourself a break. To cope with a break up, start with spending some time alone for one or two nights. Think things through, meditate, and accept that the person you loved is now gone. Then cry everything out. Pour it all out like you've never done it before. But never think of taking illegal drugs, heavy dosages of drugs, or doing any damage to your body. That wouldn't be good. When you've finally calmed yourself down, take away all of the things that could make you remember your ex: the pictures, letters, gifts, and everything. Put them away where you'll never have to find them. Detach yourself from your ex's shadow. No more calls, no more texts, e-mails, mails, etc. After you do that, you will realize that how to cope with a relationship break up will get lighter and easier each day. Get out of the box. Reveal yourself and tell your friends and families that you are now ready to face the day head on. Go out with your friends or invite your family to a special gathering. Sing a joyful song, but stay away from bitter love song. It's not healthy! It will only bring back memories, and everything you have worked for will all go down the drain. Lastly, divert your attention by doing something else; something that requires a lot of energy. Get busy! Look for a job. If you have a job, strive for that position you've been dreaming of! Get involved in sports or any activity that requires physical interaction. This broken relationship help actually helps you to become proactive. Try out a new adventure. Explore the world so that you will realize that your world revolves on a bigger system and not just on one person. You don't need to push yourself to the limits. Recovering from a serious heartache is never easy. Sometimes, it takes months and even years to move on if you really love the person dearly. But if moving on will help keep your life going, then you should move on. Take things one step at a time, and you'll soon find yourself capable of moving forward even without the person you once loved.
