The Arts Carnival incorporates all manner of arts, namely puppetry, drama, music, physical comedic theatre, childrens films, musicals, dance, multimedia theatre, acrobats and clowns. These however are just a few of the choices available at the carnival. Apart from the activities that have to be viewed, a hands on approach programme is also available in the form of workshops, outdoor carnivals, exhibitions, outreach programmes, demonstrations and cultural tours.

Local as well as renowned international performers, entertainers and artists work together to complete a magnificent programme, that in 2010 will run from the 9th of July to the 15th of August. These artists hail from all over the world, including Spain, Russia, Canada, France, Australia and Japan.
The Carnival 2010 is set to kick off with a magnificent ballet performance of the well known childrens classic Peter Pan. Produced by the UK based Northern Ballet Theatre, this production is set to weave the story of Wendy, Peter and Neverland with an amazing acrobatic and technically superior artistry.
