Difficulties of planning ones career
Difficulties of planning ones career

Most people are assured that man proposes, but it is God who disposes. They prefer swimming with the stream and not maintaining resistance. It is amazing but this strategy appears to be rather effective in certain occasions. According to fatalists theories, most events in peoples lives are predetermined and making efforts for changing something is senseless and might only worsen the situation. In reality, sometimes people are unable to evaluate the situation critically and decide what would be better for them.

Still, not running to extremes, making plans for ones future could be useful. Psychologists advise to choose distant goals and divide them into smaller and attainable ones. Then overwhelming tasks appear to be not so intimidating and persons dreams might come true after continuing hard work. A person without certain life goals lacks self-motivation and is unable to concentrate ones energy and choose a certain direction for it. Children often say that they dream of becoming directors or managers. Adults need to evaluate their abilities more critically and plan their gradual professional growth step by step.

Hints for enhancing effectiveness of ones career planning

It is preferable to choose attainable goals for avoiding possible disillusionment and discouragement. For example, before filling an interesting vacancy, a person should develop ones professional skills and receive working experience. Getting up early in the morning and going to ones work, a person should concentrate on ones motivation for doing it. Going to sleep at night, he/she should analyze ones efforts for achieving the goals during the day. Planning ones professional growth, people should

1.Choose only attainable goals, bearing in mind distant ones.

2.Analyze ones goals and evaluate possible consequences of achieving them.

3.Concentrate on ones targets instead of dissipating ones energy or swimming with the stream.
