You can sniff out a scammer with a little careful thought. A business would not gain much if they gave a free laptop to each page visitor. What exactly would they be making out of it?

This is not to say that anyone who offers you a free laptop is a high profile scammer of some kind. In fact, there are programs in the USA that have been known to give children laptops for school. Since most of us aren't children in need of educational devices, we must resort to the old fashioned way of getting ours.
