Bagless vacuums will need to be dumped very often though, so don't think that they require less maintenance than bagged vacuums.

They can start and stop themselves and even work on a regular schedule, meaning you will not have to be at home to have your floors cleaned. These have performed fairly well, but are relatively new, so if you want proven performance I would not choose this option.
