This restaurant serves both lunch and dinner and is known for the fun bar scene as well.

Another good spot is called La Parmigiana and is a perfect place to visit for families as it is a classic old traditional red sauce Italian eatery. The sizes of the several pasta dishes are large and the prices are some of the lowest found in the area. The favorite dish of the several locals and visitors that eat there is Spaghetti Celestino which is a tomato cream sauce with proscuitto and basil and tomato. Because it is such a favorite, there is usually quite a wait to get a table to plan ahead for that or make a reservation as soon as you get to the Hamptons.

In the area known as Water Mill, there is a great restaurant called Mirko's and it is also considered to be more of a unusual menu with different entrees. The chef and owner is proud to use local and fresh ingredients in his dishes and they are all delicious. Some of the favorites are pan-roasted striped bass, herb-crusted rack of lamb and grilled veal chop with tomato corn salsa. The atmosphere is warm with seating by a fireplace indoors or out on the terrace for pleasant summer evenings.

The last restaurant recommendation is the Stone Creek Inn which is right in East Quogue, New York. The owner who is also the head chef wants to use local ingredients and has a special knack for seafood which is typically the favorite thing most visitors want to eat when they visit the Hamptons. Some of his specialties include an oven roasted halibut with Mediterranean spices and a braised Montauk lobster alongside baby vegetables. Most of the menu is French inspired and the space is simple and elegant with big windows and nice woodwork.
