subject: Client Attraction Tips: Twitter And Facebook [print this page]

If you are a solo entrepreneur who owns a service-based business, them I'm sure you are always looking for client attraction strategies that really work.

In our modern world, your best bet is to invest in internet marketing strategies, as your target audience is flocking to the internet in increasing numbers every day.

In particular, there are 2 main sources of traffic that you should channel in on: Google and social media. For our purposes here, let's talk about social media--in particular, Twitter and Facebook.

Twitter and Facebook are especially good places to connect with people interested in personal growth, spirituality, coaching, and peak performance.

Your social media success is based on finding hundreds if not thousands of followers and friends who share similar interests and values.

You also need to share a lot of value and build trust and credibility. You don't want to overtly sell your products or services. This is where a lot of entrepreneurs go wrong with social medial. They spam their friends and followers or are just too aggressive in their promotional efforts. The key is to sell without selling. Get people to know and like you just by showing them that you are authentic. In this day and age, nobody wants to be sold to. Instead, people are longing for connection. That is what social media is all about.

Build your list of followers and friends systematically over the next few months. You want at least 5,000 twitter followers and 1,000 facebook friends. Get to know these people. Find out what their greatest pains are and see if you have the right resources to help them.

Social media marketing is the wave of the future for many small businesses. You'd be smart to take action now; otherwise your competition will beat you to the punch!
