subject: The New Digg | How is it? [print this page] The New Digg is finally out today! I am so excited. I immediately clicked on mashable's tweet for 1,000 invites and got myself in. I love it. I have been waiting all week. (I have no idea how long it has been since they stopped allowing you to sign up or why they do this invitation thing, but I am going to try and figure that out at some point in the near future).
Search engine optimization is so fascinating, and this is one of the ways you can get your company out there. Digg it, Stumble it, Propell it, Slashdot it, Reddit, and the list goes on and on. At work I've been dealing with alot of social bookmarking and I was so frustrated that Digg wasn't available because it is such a great one for traffic, and now I see why.
* The categories are few but broad, and it doesn't seem cluttered like some of the other websites. Here's how it works.
* The way the articles are fed is much more aesthetically pleasing than some of the article sites I've seen
* The content I see "dugg" the most is actually quite entertaining & interesting (which once again I feel is a major lack on other sites)
I have a feeling Digg is going to do quite well and I definitely plan on using it in my SEO plan. Now how can I get a Digg button on my blog posts? Is that clutch?
