Options for Accommodating Growth in Leased Space

One of the best problems a company can face is to find itself in space that is too small because of unforeseen growth. Despite the costs of accommodating the expansion, usually the improvement to the bottom line from the business growth makes the prospect of dealing with the growth seem less onerous. Whenever companies are faced with growth issues that affect their need for space, it is advisable to bring in their real estate brokers to meet with the building's leasing and management team to review the options available -- and best to do this sooner rather than later. By doing so the company will enhance its leverage, increase its options and gain greater control of the process.
