Time leveraging in Network marketing usually refers to the work your downline does to duplicate your efforts. When you first start out you will need to learn what you have to do to build your business. Your upline support team will be able to provide this support. You should make the most of this time and use it to deliver the maximum impact on your Business.

Your Upline will support you with developing your Marketing campaign. They could be providing you with ideas for advertising or with templates for leaflet distribution, if your company allows advertising and promotion. Some companies rely only on word of mouth or circle of influence marketing while others allow specific advertising and marketing campaigns.

Network Marketing is a powerful business model with benefits to not only you and your team or "downline" but also to your sponsor, enroller or upline. Making the most of the support your upline provides will provide you with a solid grounding and framework on which to build your business in the weeks and months ahead.

1. Setting and Evaluating Goals

You upline can assist you with realistic time schedules for achieving the goals you have in mind. Some companies offer "Dream Building" sessions of which I am not a huge fan. Your goals should be your decision. If you are motivated by someone else's goals you are building their business not yours.

2. Telephone Strategies and contacting techniques

Your upline will be able to show you techniques used to follow up on interested leads. These days E-mail and online contacting are less time consuming and often the main method people use to make contact. It is unfortunate in many ways, as the person to person element is slowly becoming obsolete.

3. Presenting the opportunity

Often the presentation and information will be Website based. If this is the case with your opportunity, your upline will be able to assist you in answering questions. If your opportunity requires an offline presentation your upline will do several one on one or group presentations to get you started.

4. Motivation techniques

I am not a believer in outwardly motivating someone else to perform a task. If someone else is motivating you forward and he or she are temporarily distracted or leave, you are left with no motivational channel. I instead prefer to recommend things to any downline that will enable self-motivation to occur. Books are a good choice.

5. Closing without selling

No body likes to be sold to. Your upline will show you techniques for closing and sign-ups without being pushy or selling. A good company will have a focus on Education not on selling.

Reverse leveraging your time and making the most of the support channel your upline has open to you will increase your chances of success in your Network Marketing venture.
