I've been looking through what blog posts have been doing better than the others and it seems to be three particular posts that get a lot of views. 1/ Authority Posts

A very important and helpful post. By stating useful information it will be seen as an authority post and because of this it can become very popular, meaning that other people will link to it. Advantages:

Receive a lot of links back with ease, helping to drive visitors to your site and increase page rank. Disadvantages:

Takes a lot of time to write and can be liable if the information is wrong. 2/ Social Posts

I've done a few posts such as "How to block out sound", "5 reasons Cliff Richard should have gone to Conservatory Outlet", "DIY FAIL!" and more. These don't work as a contained blog post, but they work when linked with social media.

Using twitter, digg, reddit, delicious, facebook, flickr, myspace, youtube, or whatever social sites you use, they are interesting posts that will gain some attention. Advantages:

Very easy and fun to write & they involve the reader with your product seemlessly. Disadvantages:

May be hard to turn a reader in to a sale. 3/ Lists

People love lists. They don't have to read through all of this content (are you reading this?) and it just offers a quick summary of 1, 2, 3. They've gained useful information and if they want to read more they can, if not they won't. Simple, and lists can be very good at getting views from social sites as well. dvantages:

Can make a great blog post, get many readers & increase your reputation in the industry Disadvantages:

People may disagree with your views, takes a bit of research to form a good quality list. And always remember:

Content Is Key. I started by writing articles targeting key words in Google, but that is not the way to go about it at all. Write for your customers and potential customers. Visit: http://www.copywritingspark.comAbout the Author:
