Water is the most important resource that must be preserved because the rate at which water resources are depleting, our next generation would not be able to see the rivers and ponds. Water was an abundant resource way back in the early 1970s, but as the population increased, the water requirement of people also increased and it led to severe water crisis. The water pollution and depleting resources has led people to buy water for drinking purpose. In most populated and polluted cities of the world, people buy water even for bathing and cleaning purposes because the increased pollution levels has made it almost impossible to get clean water. In addition, if someone happens to drink water accidently, he might find himself lying in the hospital next day. More than 60 percent of the area of earth is covered with water and if a water problem persists, that would be matter of shame for the humanity. The best way to preserve water is to spend it according to your need. Some parts of the underdeveloped countries do not have a facility of a pipeline or tap water. They still go to the ponds and rivers to fetch water for their daily needs and that even after walking for hours. Using hose pipes for car washing, flushing water in toilets every now and then, wasting too much water while washing utensils and doing daily life activities is the major cause of water wastage. People do not do it intentionally but the root cause of problem is that they do not understand the severity of the problem unless it becomes too dangerous to handle. It becomes the duty of young people to raise awareness in their surroundings and social circle. Water if preserved will definitely make things better for people otherwise it has been quoted by a famous man that the Fourth World War will be fought over water and that would be the last war, mankind will ever see because that will destroy everything.
