I am a mother with two teenage children and for the longest time I have looked for work from home jobs. Researching for many years to find a job that would suit what I like to do most. Before my second child was born I was attending school to become a nurse while working as a medical receptionist. It was then I realized that combining the two to become a work from home medical transcription would be something I would like to do. I researched medical transcribing. It has two of my favorite fields both clerical and medical. I enjoyed working as a receptionist and the physician whom I worked for many years even mentioned sponsoring me for college. I found a work at home business in the call center industry but found myself in a domestic violence situation. This situation has lead to loss of my home, job, and home business.
Now I am a single mom looking for a flexible job that will allow me to get back on my feet by earning money and still be at home for my children. They are everything to me. We currently do a lot of activities together. We as a family help feed the homeless once a month. I volunteer in the Youth Ministry program in my local church which allows me to show my children a path that no one else will show them. During the summer school season I home school my boys in classes they may need to make up or want to take in a shorter period of time to advance the following year. I am trying very hard to rise to very responsible, intelligent, and hard working men. I believe that I can be a medical transcriptionist and that it will allow for flexibility of time for my children and extracurricular activities.
As a medical transcriptionist I can work while my children are in school and still be home for when they need me. I will not have to depend or be worried who is going to watch my children while I am working in the office across town or whom I am going to leave my children with while schools out. If my children need me I will be right there to answer any questions. If for any reason any one of my kids gets sick and I have to pick them up from school I wont have to worry about losing my job because I left early. I can just stop what I am doing take care of them and when I return home resume working. Not to mention the kids feel more at ease when mom is home taking care of their needs. I chose Future MT because it offered flexibility with learning with online course. Future MT also offers the opportunity for financial aid if needed as well as employment. Future MT also has a referral program allowing for more opportunity to earn. This shows me that Future MT is very flexible and compatible with my needs. I am hoping with what I will learn from Future MT I will be able get back on my feet but also start an at home business in which I can expand. Hopefully into a family business that I could leave to my children once I retire. I would like to also share with others that there are opportunities for other single moms or domestic violence situated families that can overcome and succeed at whatever they put their minds to.
