I have looked into medical transcription jobs because I enjoy a challenge and problem solving. I would also enjoy gaining knowledge of the medical profession as I learn more by work and study. I'm detail oriented and think this job would give me a chance to employ that in my work. I have no real life changing moments that would motivate me to get into this field but for the fact that my roommate told me he knew someone that done this job and loved it and made a great living doing it. That would be a dream: To love my work and make a good living at it. Working from home would be a really great advantage. Being a single mother, it is very important for me to spend time with my daughter who is nine and really wants me at home when she gets home from school so that I can attend to her needs.

I also have a roommate that requires attention as our household is run as a family with me fixing his lunch and meals. I also take care of the house and whatever domestic issues come along. Working from home would also give me the flexibility of working my own hours. Therefore, I would be better able to attend school functions and meetings or work over the weekend if something required my attention on a weekday such as a doctor or dental appointment. Switching out a day whenever needed would be a nice perk that would take the pressure away from having to ask a boss and maybe there's no one to switch a shift with. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

I am interested in getting my education/ experience with Future MT for two reasons: It doesn't seem as though they have anything to hide because they listed a contact for the BBB on their website AND the opportunity for a full scholarship which is very important to me because I'm unemployed and a single mom. Any chance of gaining a career while working at home and NOT paying out of pocket appeals to me very much. I think this course will appeal to me because I can do it from home without the expense and issue of travel which aside from Oregon's dark and foul weather, is also expensive thanks to high gas prices. I believe through this course I will gain the knowledge I need to get me on the right track to a career I can be proud of. Over the next several years if not sooner, I would hope that I can start my own business as a work at home medical transcriptionist. Having my own business has always been a dream of mine and something I would like to see come to pass. In conclusion, being a medical transcriptionist would be ideal for me. Working from home, spending time with my daughter and gaining a great income would be everything I could ask for. And if I get the chance to learn something in the process- even better.
