Students' unions and communities considerably contribute to educational progress, but there should be the international organization that would monitor standards of an academic process like the European Student Union aimed at working out effective strategies contributing to the economic growth of educational sphere. What strategies and schemes should the European Student Union implement? 1.Adult education Within 10 years, the European Students' Union plans to provide wider opportunities for adults to obtain a university-level education and increase the percentage of the attendants up to 40. 2.Increasing governmental participation in a higher education The Community expects to raise the government's awareness in the necessity to treat the educational reform in more depth. In particular, its obligations involve the control of the activities carried out both by national unions and by local ones. In addition, they should supervise the way the above-mentioned student unions accomplish concrete targets. 3.Improving general levels of education The educational advancement in general is good, but it is impossible without a thorough examination of each level. Aside from this, the main task of European Students' Union is to guarantee that the accreditation level coincides with the quality standards. 4.Introducing technological advancement and innovation to the sphere of education According to ESU strategies, a higher education cannot do without an in-depth research and innovative techniques providing students with motivation and incentive to study and to discover the unknown. As it can be viewed, the international policies directed at improving educational strategies and introducing technological innovations and sophisticated techniques are highly appraised. Moreover, it makes students study more hard and persistent and achieve higher results. Therefore, the government should pay more attention to it.
