When participating in particular competitions, students are often excited and active because their main task is to sustain a vigorous competition and win the first prize. This exhilaration and delighted atmosphere experienced by high-school students is an invaluable practice for them because it contributes to training their skills and abilities necessary for their further professional development. Being absorbed with the upcoming contests, they are kept trapped because they are always intimidated by a desire to win and to prove that they are capable of something more. Calm down and take a deep breath because competitions should not be stressful but serve as a means of acquiring knowledge and experience. How to get ready for competitions or games effectively: 1.The first thing students should do is come down and think reasonably about what skills they have and what they should acquire to win a competition and overthrow their rivals. 2.Arrange your time effectively, as sitting constantly at the table and sticking to the computer monitor is not useful. You should supply your brain with small portions of information for it to have enough time for data processing. 3.Do not learn everything, just read and understand, this is the only way to succeed. When reading, but not learning, our mind selectively sorts out the information that will be of use in future. Exhaustive training and cramming are not justified on these terms. Otherwise, it might have harsh consequences for students. 4.It is important to be always in high spirits when learning or reading something. Therefore, you can invite your friends to study together. Following the above rules can save you from failure in a competition. But in case of failure, you should not be upset; your main goal is not a victory, but experience and practice of the acquired knowledge.
