Now this will not hurt your puppy in any way. So when your puppy tries to bit you they will associate the biting with getting sprayed in the face and will slowing stop biting you. Your puppy will then realize that in order not to be sprayed with the water they will have to stop biting. Soon enough you puppy will stop biting.

Another method you could use when teaching puppies not to bite is taking a can and filling it with beans or coins and when your puppy begins to bite you will say "NO" in a firm and serious voice and begin shaking the can. Puppies can not stand loud rattling noises, thus making the puppy back away. Again, like the spray bottle the puppy will associate the rattling noise with biting and will refrain from any biting.

Putting a stop your puppies biting is very vital and if you let this puppy training slip through your puppies biting may take a turn for the worse. So it is better to start controlling your puppies biting as soon as it starts.
