Time management for 2010 in the age of Facebook, Twitter, smart phones and 24/7 instant communication, no wonder we're glued to some type of electronic!

I'm going to show you the 3 habits that will free up your time, so you can finally do what's important: exercise, hang out with friends, or spend time doing whatever your hobby is, instead of squandering your hours away on Facebook, Twitter and other useless junk

Time management Tip #1: Apply the law of diminishing returns

The law of diminishing return basically means, the more you have of something, the less effective it is. Think of water it's important but if you drink too much, you're going to drown. Likewise, put 5 minutes at the end of the night to do your twitter stuff, or reply to messages on Facebook. I don't think anyone ever sat on their dead bed and muttered, "Gee, I wished I spent more time on Facebook".

Time management Tip #2: Limit your computer use

If you work with computers at your job, then get your computer related stuff done during lunch hour, so when you're at home you can hit the gym, hang out with friends, or build a bird house. Often times people surf endless for hours on the Internet because they don't have any goal in mind. Don't be suckered into this! If you want to make effective use of your time, get whatever needs to get done, then log off the Internet.

Time management Tip #2: Cut down on social network websites

Ask yourself if you really need Twitter or Facebook. Ask yourself if you constantly need to reply to cell phone texts, voice mails, and emails. It vary from person to person but I don't have twitter (never had), I log on my facebook once every 6 months, and I never answer my emails. Why? Because I'm a slave to technology. Slowly cut down your "Internet communications" (and cell phone texts) to 15 minutes a day. You'll like it, trust me.
