There are seven Chakras in the Body just as there are 7 bodies of man. There are two common interpretations of these Chakras, the colors and what they mean. When using Reiki it is important to have knowledge of both for the greatest results.
There is a physical interpretation of these colors and an even more important and Ascended State interpretation. I will start with the physical interpretation.
The Root Chakra at the base of the spine is red in color. This means our survival in the earth plane, prosperity, and relationships. The Root Chakra can be found at the base of the spine and it opens downward between the legs.
The Sacral Plexus Chakra can be found on the lower abdomen connected to the spine. This opens to the front and back of the body. Orange is what you will see in this chakra. This is all about your creativity, sexuality and inner child.
The Solar Plexus Chakra is above your navel connected to the spine and opens to the front and back of the body. This yellow color energy means divine will, inner peace and emotions.
The Heart Chakra is a green color and can be found on the middle of the chest. It is connected to the spine and it opens to the front and back of the body. Some qualities associated with heart chakra are unconditional love, compassion and beauty
The color that is associated with the Throat Chakra is sky blue. This is at the base of the throat connected to the spine and it opens to front and back of the body. This is the center of expression and power
The chakra on the forehead, above the spot between the eyebrows which opens to the front and back of the body is the Third Eye Chakra. This is navy blue in color. This is your connection to the universal truth and healing.
The top of your head is where you will find the crown chakra, in purple and white. This connects your inner vision the earth and the divine.
These are the color that most people use on the physical plane. In our next video we will talk about the Seven Chakra as known in the purified, limitless, Ascended State.
