subject: Secure Your Products With Holograms [print this page]

Days of today are very tough on businesses due to constant efforts by other individuals/firms to replicate the product and sell that replica on the goodwill of the original product. It result to a two way loss to the original product, loss of preliminary sale on the first hand and on the other, a more severe one, loss of goodwill on account of the duplicated product being of lower quality/standard.

Smart organizations that are concerned about their brand value and understand the importance of product protection have started implementing preventive measures. Now, as such, there is no definite way to do this, because the art of replicating has advance to a pinnacle level. But as an only but effective alternative, firms can use a security hologram.

Security hologram is basically a sticker, which has 3 dimensional view of a picture, name, or more generally, the company logo. This sticker, as a practice of security, is being stickled on each and every product so as to differentiate the original product from the duplicates. This practice has, to a much extent, proved to be very effective.

Now with the passage of time, there are varieties of products in the market today. So even in the market space of holograms, this has proved to be the case. Today as per the type of product, there is a type of hologram. Some of the common types and common products of usage of hologram are:

-Self-adhesive sticker and/or label used on various day-to-day products like sports goods, mobile phones, branded products, etc.

-Tamper evident hologram stripe these are a type of hologram, exclusively used for pharmaceutical industry to authenticate their products of medicinal tablets.

-Holographic foil is used to carry images within them.

Apart from what is mentioned above, hologram as a tool for security can take many forms as it possibly can, as even the art of duplicating is now even taking into its arms, holograms as well. Businesses are now finding newer ways of designing and using hologram so that they can be free from various problems as mentioned above.

So this was in brief, introduction and usage of security hologram, and thus it can be inferred that hologram as a tool for securing the product is well proved itself.
