"Wealth is not a matter of intelligence it's a matter of inspiration."

- Jim Rohn

When I was in the ninth grade I vividly remember my Honors English teacher Mrs. Duncan. She was a tall, towering woman that wore glasses and always had a warm smile. She also had a surprisingly soft voice which made a sharp and startling contrast with her potentially intimidating stature. As good of a teacher as Mrs. Duncan was, I do however remember one thing that she taught us that was dead wrong.

Nerds inherit the Earth, she used to say to us in class. What she should have been telling us instead is that those who are most committed to getting what they want inherit the Earth because that is actually much more like the truth. One of the things about business that levels the playing field is that sex, race, color, pedigree, education, etc dont play nearly as large of a role of who gets what in business ownership as the corporate world. This may be good news to some and bad news to others.

None the less, it is the reality. Though you should always be looking to build knowledge as a result of your self development, what you should be focusing on more than anything else is to find a business problem that inspires you. Maybe its a health product with magnificent healing or preventative wellness benefits. Maybe its to recruit thousands of people and help them to become millionaires. Maybe its an invention of yours or body of information like The Multi-Million Dollar Mindset.

At any rate, inspiration is really the birthplace of multi-million dollar business ideas. When you are inspired you are much more likely to be working in your area of brilliance and competency. Find your inspiration and you have found a great source of wealth both for you and for those you will serve. In the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki talks in detail about money being nothing but an idea. He also talks about how generating money through a business also comes from an idea.

What Kiyosaki is speaking of in these instances is the power of inspiration applied to create and build wealth. Every multi-billion dollar company in existence started out as an idea, someones light bulb of inspiration. Tapping into your own reservoir of inspiration and ideas can produce larger than life results for you as well if you would only learn to harness that energy. Wealth and inspiration are inexplicably linked. You almost cannot have the former without the latter.

One of the things that makes this very difficult for a lot of people to conceptualize is the fact that for most of our lives, and especially in corporate America, our ideas are stifled. Often as children, if people are doing a good idea raising them are often encouraged to think outside the box because people want them to learn. But then after we become adults we are told time and time again to not share our ideas.

You dont have enough education; you dont know enough, you dont know what youre talking about. But some of the most incredible business ideas that were ever thought of came from people who lacked education and expertise all together. The multi-billion dollar selling book Harry Potter, was an idea in the head of a welfare mother as she was riding public transit with her daughter. She thought about the idea of writing a book about a young boy who had super powers.

So no matter who you are and what you may be lacking, you have ideas inside of you that can be multi-million dollar ideas if you develop them. Now, there is something to be said for just following the system, especially if you are someone who is in a business like network marketing that values duplication. But if you are building your own system it is very important that you stay true to developing your own ideas.

Even if you are building a business of duplication like network marketing that is just one stream of income. To build wealth you want to have multiple streams of income and some of those streams of income need to come from your own intellectual property that you develop from your ideas. Allow your creative juices to develop and grow and you just may be right around the corner from your very own next multi-million dollar spark of inspiration.
