If you're looking for things to see and do in Tenerife, you really won't have to look too hard. Tenerife, the largest of the seven Canary Islands off the coast of Spain, is well known for having myriad attractions and events to look forward to, but which are the best?

It isn't hard to compile a list of the top attractions in Tenerife, but there certainly are some that are must-see, such as the incredible sight that is Masca. Masca is a breathtaking village built precariously on the side of vast and dynamic mountains, the sight of which causes many to double take in surprise. One of Tenerife's most photogenic destinations, Masca is by far one of the best places to visit during your trip to this incredible and diverse island.

If you're a big nature lover, it's impossible to overlook the amazing Teide National Park. If you can't spend time exploring this park's beautiful forests and dramatic landscapes, you should at least rent a car and drive. Teide National Park is famous for one of its particular landscapes which bizarrely replicates the appearance of the moon - so expect to see fellow travellers enjoying taking one small step for man whilst walking across this incredible piece of land.

Continuing along the nature side of things, no trip to Tenerife is complete without spotting a dolphin or two - or perhaps a pilot whale! The waters that lie between Tenerife and nearby La Gomera are famed for the great chances visitors have of spotting dolphins and whales and a boat ride through these glorious waters makes way for a perfect family day out. Enjoy as the little ones affix their eyes to the horizon in the hopes of spotting the local pilot whale population - safe in the knowledge that their chances of avoiding disappointment are pretty much guaranteed.

Another incredible sight that will remain imprinted on your memories for many years to come, are Los Gigantes, a dynamic set of cliffs that plunge almost vertically over 1600 feet from the land down to the Atlantic. These breathtaking natural edifices are sure to be the stars of your holiday snaps.

There are so many Tenerife attractions to see that you'll always find something new to take in, but you can be sure that even a trip to just one of the above is bound to make your trip all the more memorable.
