Spend Some Romantic Time in San Diego with your Loved One

A beautiful city to visit with your loved one is San Diego as there are numerous places you can go to in order to enjoy some alone time. The first place that comes to mind is the fireworks at Sea World which can be seen from a San Diego beach while you have a bonfire going to keep you warm and cozy. While on the beach, you can also take in a spectacular sunset over the Pacific as this is one of the most unique things about the West Coast. You could also rent a horse-drawn carriage and take a ride along the waterfront while you cuddle in the back under a blanket to keep you warm. There are also many cruises you can take on the bay that have amazing meals, live music and dancing. There are also gondolas available to take you around Coronado Island while you enjoy some wine.

Fun under the Sun in San Diego

There are numerous beaches in San Diego so many in fact, that you cannot possibly cover them all during your vacation there unless all you do is visit beaches. The numerous beaches however does mean that swimming, surfing, sailing, jet skiing and all other water sports are conveniently available. Imperial Beach is an excellent spot, as is Coronado, Ocean beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla or even the clothing optional beach Blacks Beach. One very popular sport is surfing, and there are a lot of surf schools where you can be taught how to surf if youre new to the sport, but understand that the surfing conditions differ by beach. If you want to go boating there is always Point Loma, Downtown, Coronadlo, Chula Vista, or one of many other places where you can find boat launch ramps.

Spring Break in San Diego

Spring break is an excellent tradition that falls around Easter allowing college students to have some time to either study or party before the end of the school year. Numerous students choose to celebrate Spring break by heading to beaches around the country and take in the sunshine after long winters. An excellent Spring Break spot is San Diego as there are countless sandy beaches which provide activities like surfing, jet skiing, hang gliding, and sailing. Mission or Pacific Beach are excellent places to go to where you can lie in the sand, play a game of volleyball, walk on the boardwalk or just surf on the Wave House a man made wave machine. For nightlife, head to Gaslamp District Town since it has many clubs and restaurants and shopping places.

San Diego: Sights Not To Be Missed

The San Diego Card is a must buy when visiting the city as it allows you to enter fifty sights free and without waiting in line. There is much to see in Balboa Park, like parks, museums, and gardens. The park is filled with Spanish architecture, amazing gardens and a clock tower. There is also the San Diego Zoo, the best zoo in the country, located in the park with wild animals no other zoo has. The Wild Animal Park is a sister park to the San Diego Zoo and covers 1800 acres. You can catch a killer whale and dolphin show at Sea World, home to ShamuFor shopping and beautiful beaches, head to La Jolla which is an upscale community.
