Only eleven hours of practice of a meditation technique founded on traditional Chinese medicine to improve the functioning of the brain, according to a research published in the United State. The technique called IBMT for (integrative body-mind-training) improves the cerebral connectivity, transmission of impulses in the nerve network, boosting the functioning of the brain which help a person adjust its behavior depending on what he or she wishes to achieve, are saying the authors of the study published in the Annals of the American Academy of Science. The IBMT has been adapted as a traditional Chinese medicine in China since the early nineties by thousands of people who are still practicing it. Its currently taught to students of the University of Oregon. The researchers used 45 students. 22 subjects had completed the IBMT technique, while 23 participants were part of the control group. Researchers have used techniques of magnetic resonance and imaging to observe the fibers connecting the different areas of the brain before and after using the new meditation technique.
