subject: World Wrestling - Fake Or Not? [print this page] Wrestling in WWE, or world wrestling entertainment, or even in TNA, is entertaining. After all, world wresting showcases one of the best specimens in the world. After all, it isn't everyday that you see actual men, who are seemingly 100% muscle, lift men who are almost twice their size or weight effortlessly, treat them like ragdolls and pin them down. WWE is usually dimmed as a little brother of the more extreme combat sports, such as the UFC. This is because most often than not, people think that this sport is fake and not real. But, is that true?
For one thing, it is real. If it wasn't real, then, why would you be seeing two people, or even sometimes 30 people, beating the hell out of each other. But, sadly much of this sport is fake. Yes, it is scripted. They practice what they do, and they are told who the victor is. They have scriptwriters, who determine what happens next, and who pins who, and most often than not, it is dictated by the crowd, or the general managers of the respective shows. However, there are still cases that what happens in world wrestling is real and genuine. For one thing, injuries are real. As to why, wrestlers in world wrestling are considered professionals.
They are professional actors. They know when they are going to be lifted, so, they know how to control their own weight. They know how to fake punches. They know how to fake getting hit. However, keep in mind that there are some things that are out of control, and sometimes, most wrestlers are not told what to do, rather, only know who is going to win.
So, when watching this - your favourite sport, keep in mind that although it may be scripted, it certainly is not fake. It is real. These are professional wrestlers beating the hell out of each other. So, do not try doing that at home.
