subject: Toyota Kenosha Dealers To Offer Smart And Fun Yaris Hybrid To Local Buyers [print this page]

Ive been focusing a lot of my energy lately on finding the perfect eco-friendly and fuel efficient vehicle, but it just hasnt happened. If you want to know the Gods honest truth, Ive come to find out that such a thing doesnt exist. Its not for lack of trying among car industry professionals; the technology we are leveraging to propel us into a new age of driving is going to take some time to perfect. But there are a few manufacturers out there that are really raising the bar for the future of the industry.

Coming out of the recession, a lot of manufacturers have been dealing with the heavy costs associated with the purchase of raw materials and the research that goes into developing new technologies. But the recession was also a huge turning point for the car industry; suddenly, consumers became very aware that they were being pushed around. And guess what? We werent going to take it anymore. If I can drive a car that offers me the dependability, power, performance, style and affordability of any other car on the market while simultaneously leveraging new technology to promote fuel efficiency, then I will.

One manufacturer that keeps popping up as one of the leaders in the fuel economy revolution is Japan-based Toyota, a stalwart name in an industry thats recently lost a lot of consumer sway. Obviously, one of the first vehicles I test-drove when I visiting my Toyota Kenosha dealership was the Prius. Toyota Kenosha drivers have been raving about the Prius for the last few years of its existence, and I really just needed to see what it was all about. While the Prius is a great drive and extraordinarily fuel efficient, I found that it was oddly lacking in the way of performing fun. So I returned to my Kenosha Toyota dealership to give the fun, stylish and compact Yaris a spin.

Performance-wise, the Yaris picked up right where the Prius lacked. You have to make a compromise if you enjoy the driving experience, and I think the Yaris was a good middle-ground. Not only did it make a great compromise, but it was also even more moderately priced than the Prius, coming in at a base price of $12,335. I never realized my Toyota Kenosha dealer contained such affordability.

Heres the other kicker: while not quite on par with the Prius 51 mpg rating, the Yaris still does well in fuel efficiency, logging ratings of 29 miles per gallon in city driving and 36 miles per gallon on the highway, respectively. Compared to one of its main competitors the Honda Fit, which gets 27 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway the Yaris truly reigns supreme when it comes to fuel efficiency for a gasoline engine in its class. You might even benefit from visiting your Kenosha used cars dealer, where you could find a slightly older model of the Yaris or Prius for an even better price.

What have you got to lose by stopping in at your Kenosha used cars dealership today?
