Well not exactly scrumping, but during April & May and again in Oct there is an abundance ofdelicious oranges & lemons in Crete and if you travel the back lanesyouare sure to pass by some very tempting overhangingbranches laden with juicy fruit or failing that you can pick up a few kilos in the markets and wayside orange sellers for peanuts. By the way - the peanuts cost peanuts too, as do the walnuts and olives........ Thereare alsoa lot of excellentavocados.
