There is plenty that needs doing, the wallpaper, the kitchen and the carpet! I'm in a rush to get the house finished as we have some relatives coming over in a month's time, so I would love to get it all finished earlier. I'm thinking of employing help since we can't do it all on our own. My friends referred me to Wellington cleaners. They said they could do the lot for us.
I've never actually gotten a cleaner before to assist, so this ought be interesting. It would be great to leave the professionals to it so we can divert our attention to the better things when we move in and stop thinking about all the cleaning that needs to be done. Doing it this way, we can move ahead quicker and get to enjoy a lot more of the place.
Friends have used Wellington cleaners before putting their house on the market. They have suggested getting the carpet cleaned professionally and say it can make such a difference. Often it can look brand new after a professional clean. The owners before us had two large dogs and 3 children so I'm guessing there will be hidden stains here and there. I am excited to see what the cleaners can do for the carpet; they seem to have all the right cleaning products to battle with any stain.
The new house also has lovely wooden floors that could do with a nice polish. This will really compliment the clean carpet.
The huge windows are what pulled me to this house. It looks across the city which just lights up at night. I did note the windows would call for a good clean. Not just the glass but the window seals would need to be cleaned well before we put a new coat of paint on the walls and frames.
The guest bedroom is my major project. With the relatives arriving in a month's time I really want to make a room where they can all relax in. Fresh paint with a good clean will help give it the calm feeling.
I'm so looking forward to this whole project, between the Wellington cleaners and me; I just know our new home will turn into our home very soon.
