subject: Shipping Supplies: Why We Should Never Run Out Of Bubble Mailers [print this page]

Have you ever sent something via courier that didn't arrive in its best form? Before you would blame the courier for any mishandling, you should check out the packaging first. Could it be that you are not using the right shipping supplies?

Most of the time, it's really all about our choices and decisions. Sometimes when we think that a plain envelope will do, we might just be putting the item at risk for damage. Therefore, it is time to re-think on our shipping supplies. Let's not limit our supplies to ordinary envelopes or packets. Somehow, we might just need to have, among other things, the right shipping envelopes such as bubble mailers or sealed air mailers at our disposal.

Bubble envelopes or sealed air mailers are special shipping envelopes. They usually have the self-sealing characteristic and are padded bubble wraps or cushions on the inside. They also help keep or maintain the shape and form of the transported item; which is the reason why they are also known as protective mailers.

Other people generally call them as cushion mailers as well because they provide effective cushioning to our items such as, but not limited to, magazines, books, photos, CDs, DVDs, and other items which need just the right amount of cushioning.

Let us take note though that this bubble padded envelopes cannot be used as cushioning for fragile goods because there's a tendency that these items for shipping get crashed in the process. No matter how much you put some shipping labels into the padded envelope indicating the item inside to be fragile or any word or words to that effect, somehow this is not the recommended shipping supply for fragile items.

Items that are prone to breaking should be wrapped with some good amount of bubble wraps and then packed with the right shipping box. This is usually one of the best ways to take care of any fragile item during shipping.

Today, bubble mailers have been widely used by individuals and companies for their packing and shipping needs. They come in various sizes and colors. If we frequently find ourselves always buying these sealed air mailers, then it should be practical to buy them in bulk rather than singly because you can get a good price for doing that. The cost of shipping supplies is always cheaper when you buy them wholesale. Also, it's a great idea to always have them around whenever you need one.
