HTC have recently introduced the Desires younger brother handset, the HTC Wildfire. Also known as the Buzz, this smaller and lighter variant weighs just 118g, yet contains fully-fledged smartphone features.

Its main feature, the integrated social networking system Friendstream, allows users to easily access, communicate and edit their Twitter, Facebook and Flickr pages. The impressive 3.2 inch touchscreen display allows easy navigation through menus. The Wildfire uses capacitive technology to provide sharp responses to touch commands and even supports multi-touch in the web browser, maps and photos. The unique HTC Sense system also provides an accelerometer which automatically rotates the screen and a proximity sensor which switches the display to standby mode when on a call.

With a built-in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus and video capture, this Google Android phone takes quality pictures which can be uploaded onto blogs or the ever popular social media sites. The Wildfire is also blessed with a built-in Web Browser providing instant internet access, and is capable of picking up internet connections in almost any location.

Bluetooth wireless technology allows quick and easy data transmission. And what's more, with Bluetooth wireless printing, sending images or documents to a compatible printer is child's play wherever you are, allowing you to produce quality printouts effortlessly.

The built in music playerplays most digital formats are including MP3 and AAC, and the HTC Wildfire boasts a memory card slot that will support up to 32GB MicroSD cards, letting you store thousands of tracks on the phone. The email client furthers the online experience allowing the recipient to receive email from their very own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account worldwide. This is also very simple to set up and cost effective.

With built-in GPS the Wildfire can also locate its users location, plan journeys and be used as a combined smartphone sat nav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software, such as Google Maps.
