Cellulite, edema and yeast infections are essentially the same disease, as they tend to share the same cause (cold, damp, deficient diet), gender (women, tend to be cold, damp, deficient, men, hot, dry and excessive)and same effect, disease, symptoms: abdominal bloating, loose stools, diarrhea, mucous, phlegm, cysts, edema, cellulite and yeast infections.
Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines, both 5,000+ years old, are based on the observation of nature (physical world, matter) of which we are a part of. The material world is controlled, held together, defined by energy. There are two forms, opposites (antagonistic yet complimentary), kinds of energy: hot (building, fire, male, yang) and cold (cleansing, water, female, yin). The correct balance produces the correct amount of hot and cold, energy, which then forms the correct hot (dry, active, ascending) and cold (watery, inactive, descending) amounts of blood, structure and function. The incorrect amounts, too much or too little hot or cold, build disease via too much or too little hot or cold energy, blood, structure and function.
Everything (structure, function, nutrient, food, herb, emotion, gender, climate, etc. is defined in energetic terms, as everything is a balance of hot (male) and cold (female) energies, with one energy always in excess. There is nothing neutral.
Cellulite is excess water (cold) and fat (hot) that tends to accumulate in pockets around the abdomen and thighs, more so in women than men. Many women tend to eat cold, damp low protein, low-fat (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.) and high carbohydrate (salads, tropical fruits, juices, etc.) diets. Menstruation (3-7 days every month for thirty plus years) is a cooling process as all blood loss; hemorrhage drains, weakens and cools all function, including digestion.
Digestion not only transforms food, nutrients into blood but also burns, dries excess fluids. Weak digestion transforms, burns less food, nutrients, fat, water, etc. More fluid and fat accumulate, is stored in the intestines, abdomen, thighs, arteries and or veins. Cellulite while both watery and fatty is mostly water. It is generally a "cold" condition, caused by long-term cold, damp, low protein, low-fat and high carbohydrate diet.
Edema is the accumulation of fluid (water, cold) in the soft tissues and can occur anywhere in the body: head, arms, legs, etc. It is a cold, damp disease, caused in general, by poor diet and or weak digestion. It tends to attack women (menstruation) more than men, as many women tend to eat low protein, low-fat and high carbohydrate diets. Men (testosterone, hot, building hormone) are the opposite. They tend to eat high protein, high fat diets giving them an extra metabolic, energy boost.
Digestion is the ultimate fat burner and diuretic as it heats, burns, metabolizes food and fluids. Too little building, low protein and fat (milk, yogurt, beans, nuts and seeds), in the extreme tend to weaken digestion. Too many carbohydrates (salads, tropical fruits, juices, smoothies, cold drinks and sugar), in the extreme, dilute and weaken digestion, reducing nutrient absorption, blood, energy, heat, while increasing waste product: liquid and solid. Whatever food, nutrients not digested, absorbed become waste.
The uterus and vagina are naturally moist. Too much coldness, moisture tends to create clear or white vaginal discharges (leucorrhea), vaginitis, yeast infections, etc. The uterus, vagina and rest of the body are heated largely by digestive energy, function. Digestion not only transforms and transports food, nutrients into blood, but also produces excess energy, heat that heats and dries the body. Weak digestion tends to cool, weaken and moisten the body (lungs, uterus, vagina, etc) with excess fluids: mucus, phlegm, etc. that allows yeast to prosper, infect. Candida Albicans is also, in general a cold, damp and deficient disease
Long-term low protein, low fat (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.) and high carbohydrate (salads, fruit, juices, cold drinks, sugar, etc.) diets tend to cool, weaken and moisten digestion, which in turn, cools and moistens (discharges, mucous, yeast, etc.) the uterus, vagina. Vinegar douche or inserting a clove of garlic directly into the vagina can sometime helps yeast infections. Check with your doctor first.
The cure for cold, damp, deficient diseases is simple but time-consuming, requiring months, years of good diet and exercise to not only cure but also prevent. Heat the body, increase metabolism via protein, fat (eggs, chicken, turkey, etc.), cooked foods, soups, spices (cardamom, cumin, fennel, ginger, cayenne, turmeric, etc.), etc. while reducing salads, tropical and citrus fruits, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, cold drinks, smoothies, sugar, etc.
Protein and fat build fuel and heat. Too little protein and fat tends to weaken digestion, metabolism, burning less protein, fat, water, etc. while increasing waste product, solid and liquid, as whatever food, nutrients, not digested, absorbed becomes waste that is temporarily stored in the large intestine and later released, eliminated. Water, minerals, sugar, fruits, vegetables, juices, etc. reduce, cleanse, cool and moisten. Too many tends to dilute and weaken digestion, acid and enzymes, reducing nutrient absorption, blood, burning less, storing more fat and water: mucous, phlegm, cysts, edema, cellulite, etc.
This is one tidbit of information. I have no doubt that most of you can cure your disease, unfortunately you will have to do it yourself, at home, in your own kitchen, doing your own cooking, shopping, eating, etc. Others (physicians, special meditations, nutritional supplements, herbal formulas, etc.), whose power at best is limited and sometimes (more than you think) harmful cannot do it for you (which is why they never have)
