Age makes us realize how long we have lived and drives us to count the years we have left. Another factor that causes face wrinkles and skin sagging is rapid weight loss. For the most part, the skin loses its elastic ability. The production of collagen reduced, skin cells divide slowly, the inner layer of the skin or the dermis is thinning. You would then notice that even your facial expression cause the appearance of fine lines especially in corner of the eyes or commonly tagged as eye wrinkles.

Aging is inevitable. But it does not stop anyone from desiring to hide its signs. Using sun protection, eating right and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are some of the preventive measures that you can apply to avoid visible lines from appearing. And here is a list of other things you can do to at least delay the appearance of skin wrinkles:

Maintain a routine. Most women have their own skin care routines that they follow religiously. And this is for a very good reason. This simple act can help maintain the skin's elasticity and aid in keeping moisture in the skin.

Use sunscreen. The sun emits harmful rays such as ultraviolet radiation that causes face wrinkles. By wearing sunscreen, you protect your skin not only from developing skin wrinkles but from other skin disorders that can be caused by constant exposure to the sun.

Don't tan too much. Although, tanning gives the skin a seemingly healthy glow, artificial tanning or those achieved with the aid of tanning salons should be minimized if not avoided. The exposure to ultraviolet rays is actually higher than it is when tanning under the sun.

Follow do not smoke signs. If you do not desire face wrinkles in any way, especially at a younger age, you should quit smoking. The toxins in cigarettes damage major skin cells that cause premature face wrinkles.

Dehydrate. You get toxins not only from smoking but from pollution in general, water helps the body to get rid of it.

Shade your eyes. Wearing protective sunglasses instead of squinting can prevent the appearance of eye wrinkles.

Get the benefit of a facial massage. By regulating the blood flow, elasticity of the skin is assured and helps the skin rejuvenate keeping face wrinkles away.

These are only some of the things you can do to prevent skin wrinkles. Your face sets you apart from everyone else. You can certainly face anyone with confidence if you have a glowing and young looking skin. It does not take much to do preventive measures to avoid wrinkles. If it calls for some sacrifice, it is definitely worth it!
