subject: Why Renting a Cabin Is Better Than Staying In an Average Motel or Hotel [print this page] Author: Valerie Rizzo Author: Valerie Rizzo
When traveling to North Georgia or any mountain region of The USA I highly recommend comparing your options. You will be surprised how inexpensive a two night stay at a luxury cabin can be. While most motel/hotel rates have gone up over the past 10 years the cabin rental business has become very competitive. With competition we have seen some price reductions. You can book a 2 night stay in a 2 bedroom cabin for as little as $90 per night. For just a little more you can get 2 and 3 bedroom cabins with a hot tub. Some of these luxury cabins are so nice you could plan your entire vacation around them. With plenty of outdoor activity like hiking, biking and rafting you will wonder where the time went. For the less adventurous there might be antique shopping, fudge shops, and some great home town restaurants. If you just want to relax then imagine reading your favorite book in a nice hot Jacuzzi and then snuggling by the fireplace. It still amazes me how many people settle for a cramped room packed with 2 queen size beds and a TV. They just don't know what they are missing. I admit that I am a little biased because I manage cabin rentals but I am truly convinced that the only reason people are still choosing motels is because they are not aware how reasonable it is to rent a fully furnished luxury cabin. Rental cabins usually come with everything you need except your clothes. They have appliances (stove, oven, toaster, microwave), electronics (Wifi, TV, satellite, DVD), furniture (couch, beds, dressers, tables, chairs) and many of them have barbecue grills. They also include silverware, knives, pots, pans, towels, and linens. It is amazing that you can get all of this for the same price as an average hotel or motel room and there are still people booking motels when they visit mountain towns. Do yourself a favor and consider a nice cabin for your next vacation rental. If you are passing through the North Georgia towns of Ellijay or Blue Ridge then give your mind and spirit some peace and relaxation, book a luxury cabin rental for at least 2 nights. You will thank yourself and I bet you start planning for your next cabin stay as soon as you return home.About the Author:
