The manufacturing of the Freelander was relocated to the Jaguar car factory at Halewood .. which is near Liverpool. The Defender models are produced under a certain license at several locations that are worldwide. These locations include Spain, Iran, Brazil, & even Turkey. In May earlier this year, Tata Motors stated that they plan to build Land Rovers, Land Rover Wheels , & even Jaguars in China since they plan to cut costs & just expand sales. Even if it was made in China, I'd still buy the car.
