subject: St Pete Beach Vacation Rentals Guaranteed To Be A Fourth Of July Hot Spot [print this page]

Fourth of July weekend is guaranteed to be a splash hit among St. Pete Beach vacationers and locals alike. It is this time of year that many families schedule weekend getaways to Floridas Gulf Coast beaches, and in particular St. Pete Beach.

Even locals that live in nearby St. Petersburg and Tampa flock to this Independence Day hotspot because of the abundance of activity and chance to relax. Nothing beats spending a hot summers day soaking up the suns rays, fishing on a chartered boat ride, playing beach volleyball with friends, and having a family picnic while the sun goes down.

Thats the beauty of a St. Pete Beach vacation rental compared to a hotel you get that sense of home while being away from home. That fresh catch from the afternoon boat ride can be cooked right upstairs in your fully-furnished kitchen or on an outdoor grill. You can also grill up some Independence Day favorites like corn on the cob, and bake some beans and macaroni salads. Place the food in some Tupperware and cover with aluminum foil and head for the sand!

If you dont want to cook, you can head over to some of the nearby beach bars or restaurants to enjoy July Fourth festivities. Ocean Breeze Lounge and Tapas Grill, located directly on the intercoastal on Blind Pass road in between St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island is having a Fourth of July Celebration that includes BBQ, live entertainment, and dancing.

Other area hot spots will be Wahoos on the Island, Sloppy Pelican, Woodys Waterfront Grill, Philthy Phils, and Gators next to Johns Pass, which is also having BBQ along with live music and entertainment. All are located within walking distance of St. Pete Beach Vacation Rentals and Treasure Island Rentals.

And speaking of Treasure Island, there will be live music and tons of festivities on nearby Treasure Island Beach for the City of Treasure Islands Annual Beach Blast, including BBQ, so if you dont want to cook, theyve got it all ready for you! Combined with arts and crafts for the kids, and youve got plenty of fun for the whole family! Festivities on Treasure Island begin at noon so you can make it an all-day event. All fireworks displays on the beaches are expected to start at 9 pm.
