A complex thought, query, which gets evoked while listing old music, something within my heart starts sinking, while listening to my childhood collection of songs! I don't know why?
I do not know why? Especially, when I listen to my college days songs and lyrics of certain songs.
Songs that take us where we left or turned our lives. Music, in positive sense, always has a healing effect. However at the same time it creates a web of old memories, which we want it to cherish or remember simply.
A composite network of moment!, events we had forgotten are caught in the act of our 'Being', just because certain lyrics and songs happen to come to us again in present times.
The unproved wisdom of our mind, the transmit image of my old relationship memories, the sleeper dreams, which we do not want to have any remembrance suddenly become live when I hear certain other musical instrument in tune. I don't know why?
The validity of such happenings, due to listening some typical hindi songs is a question in itself. I think, music does effect us both ways, it is, for most of times a joyful experience but some times a painful, a highly implausible events happening.
Its a fact about a music for me and may be for many. This aspect of music cannot be really understood with in the frame work of known natural laws related to music and sound with clarity.
The occurrence of such events happening with impossible frequency is the effect of music, which I some times enjoy and some times feel terribly irritated as it bring bad memories also live in my present.
