subject: affiliate marketing system 101 [print this page] 97 billion e-mail messages expected to be sent this year will be Spam.
What is spam?
Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.
Spam is also those people who try and try to force there ads on you using facebook or twitter. What is the point of trying to force someone to do something they don't want to do?
There are no marketing brains behind Spamming someone. there is no point of a Spammers life.
As marketers we try to do things in a blackhat way right? We put as many backlinks to our website as much as we can hoping the best.
Is there an easer way to do it? Is there an easer way to market to someone who really wants to know?
Let's think of it this way. What we are trying to do is, pick out people that want to read or look at what we have to offer. How do we find those people? How do we pick out from the crowd of nosy people that one guy who wants to buy?
We shall study. Study?
Yes, study. we shall study what people that are looking to buy something today and what people are just browsing the web for fun. Not, onlyjust the people that are going to buy something today, but the people that are interested in buying what you have to offer. Holy poop!Howdo you do that?
What look at itin three parts.
Searching for fun
Searchingto buy
And searching for informantion
Youcan use these threeparts to make money. It sounds crazy but it works.
I going to break down what I'm trying to give people with this website to help you understand how to pick out the poeple you are looking for.
Ok, the people that are online to have fun, play games, and to be social are a big traget forads. Now,I don't like toputting ads onto social websites myself. The reason for that is that I don't like marketing to my friends. I just think with my website it is moreforpeople that want to learn.
Then you have the people that areonline to shop. Even bigger ads on on the web for this part. Now, I would love for people to buy my ebooks, butI don't think my website would be a good platform for that. So,I don't think I'm trageting thosewho want to buysomething online.
This isit!
The people who are looking for more information about how to market there website are the peoplethat Iwant. Now, you might think, "how can you make money then?" Good question. My hopes are, if I give people a reasion to come to my website like great information then my hope is that they would buy more information from me. Get it?
Content is king for people that wantto sell more informantion. If you have great content thenmore people would want to look on yoursite. The more people on your site looking for informationthey would be willingto buymore information.
Get it right the first time!
Knowwho you are marketing to.
If you are in a crowded place with 500 people and you yell out, "hey!hey! look at me!" Not many people are going to look. If you yell out, "heybill with the green shirt look at me!" what do you think is going to happen? That's right! All theBill's with the green shirt will look at you. That is what you want!
Are you starting to get what I mean?
So, stop trying to throw up on people that don't want to hear it. Find the people that want to hear what you are showing. Study the web and find those people and you will be in the gold!
