It might be better for your kids to do one less activity or for you to get one less thing done everyday. If eating healthy is a priority to you, you'll find the time to get done what's needed.

That said, here is a tip that can help you keep up with the busy culture.

Plan ahead. When you get up every morning, instead of turning the TV on or reading the newspaper, plan out your day. Write down the tasks that you need to get done and how you will fit in times to eat.

If you see that you'll be in the car for 2 meals out of the day, use those few minutes you have in the morning to prepare some light meals to keep you going. Some carrot sticks, apple slices, peanut butter, almonds, dried fruit, or other small snacks can be a great meal on the go.

Not only will you save money on fast food, but you'll be less likely to overeat when you pre-pack a small meal, and your body will be much better for it. Fast food is one of the worst things you can eat, replacing it with some of the best foods is a sure fire way to get healthier and have more energy.

By taking just a few minutes in the morning and planning out your day, where you'll be, what you'll eat, it will be easier and easier to eat healthy foods and feel better.
