Some people have the weirdest phobias. Believe it or not it is predicted that about 10% of all human beings are afraid of something. Everything from car parts to numbers, to celiings, and grass, there is a phobia for just about anything.

1. Defecaloesiophobia: Fear of painful bowels. Remember Sh*t-break from American Pie? Well, he sorta had this phobia. But he could have had a few other related phobias such as coprastasophobia, fear of constipation; proctophobia, the fear of rectums; rectophobia, fearing anal disease; and the basic coprophobia, which is the fear of feces, not to mention, he probably had the fear of germs.

2. Cyprianophobia: Fear of prostitutes: This could mean simply the fear of a pimp persona or maybe the fear of STDs, who knows?!

3. Phalacrophobia: Fear of becoming bald: I mean it makes sense. Its embarrassing, unfair, and creates an unattractive, older you. What a horrible way to be stripped of your manliness. 4. Novercaphobia: Fear of your stepmother: This is likely to be blamed by all of those fairy tale movies with a mean old stepmother, remember Cindarella?

5. Ithyphallophobia: Fear of seeing, thinking about or having an erect penis. Well, isnt that strange. I suppose this has something to do with the NARB, the No Apparent Reason B*ner.

6. Phobophobia: Fear of phobias: Wow, what a troubled, troubled little person.

7. Cacophobia : This is the fear of ugliness. This is probably what the girl from the Hills has.

8. Sesquipedalophobia: Fear of long words: I suppose this could intimidate someone with a speech impediment.

9. Telephonophobia : This is the fear of telephones: Believe it or not, some people to this day, avoid the use of a telephone.

10. Heliophobia : This is the fear of the sun: Some people like to be super de-duper pale.
