A 12v fridge can de defined as a cooler which derives its power from battery. Thus it might not prove suitable as a household appliance since electricity power is available at home with ease! In an unconventional setting of home or for purposes outside the house it is a very useful gadget. Examples of such places would be campervans, motor homes or possibly recreational vehicles. Usually in these cases the fridge would get the power from the battery which is present in the vehicle.

However due to obvious reasons such an economical appliance, would not really have a long life span. However the cooling is pretty good, with exceptions of very hot and humid weather. The users of the same are ones which are causal users and maybe use it for a picnic trip or a camp and the like. But there are various such fridges which go upto as high as $1000 also. These 12v fridges can sustain the hardest of terrains and perform extremely efficiently. It is updated and has the latest features and technology.

It is a gadget which is very convenient and with changing times it is proving to be more and more suitable for people to use.
