Toronto, Canada GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering a 13.56MsHz thin RFID card with an M1 F08 IC inlay. It uses advanced cryptography to prevent tag cloning. This high frequency RFID card is an ideal solution for access control and can be used for tracking or authentification of individuals for access to equipment like a computer terminal.

The EPC (electronic product code) RFID card, model 113311, replaces magnetic stripe cards and needs only to be held within a certain distance of the reader to authenticate the card holder. It can be both read and written at a range of 2.5cm to 10cm. This contactless RFID card is waterproof and dustproof and is resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10% HCL and ammonia.
