Want to know a cool way to connect with people who are on your list and build a stronger
bond between you and you list? Are you nodding your head yes? I thought you would.
Hey everyone Mole J here. This I is a very cool trick that you can do with Facebook.
Do you know anyone that does not have a facebook account? I do not know many people that do not have an account on Facebook. It is a very good chance that when someone joins your list, they are also on Facebook.
What you can do is when someone opts into your list or joins your newletter. Use their e-mail to search for them on Facebook. If you find them on Facebook, friend them. Send a little message thanking them for visiting your website. Let them know that they have some very cool stuff coming in their e-mail. And if you dont get them let me know. Anyway, just wanted to connect with on a new level.
All of a sudden you become a real person. This is very powerful.
Imagine the effect this would have on you if you sign up for a newsletter and then you get a friend request from that person.
This would make me feel great. That person has gone one extra step to connect and get to know me better. I am all of a sudden not just a name and e-mail on someones list.
My other tip is to ask questions. A lot of people when they become friends with someone will post a thank you note. However, they do not give any reason for the person to respond.
So before you post the thank you note, look at the person information. Ask them a question about something in their information. Or you can just ask them how their day is going. Many will respond, and it gives you a chance to get to know the person better and deepen your relationship with that person.
