Gold Saucer
Important Places in the Gold Saucer:
1. Chocobo Square
2. Battle Square
3. Event Square
Most people dream of going to the Gold Saucer in hopes to bet on chocobo races or play some of the games offered. During certain times of the year, you might be able to participate in one of their plays with your date. How it turns out is entirely up to you. For those here without a date, there is the Battle Square where you fight your way through eight rounds to earn Battle Points, exchangeable for different prizes. There is also the Chocobo Square, where you can bet on your favorite chocobo jockey or if you're lucky enough, to catch a glimpse of Joe and his black chocobo, Teioh. No trip to the Gold Saucer is complete without a gondola ride that encompasses the amusement park.

Important Places in Midgar:
1. 7th Heaven
2. Sector 5 Church
3. Wall Market
4. LOVELESS Avenue
Depending on the part of Midgar you visit, the atmosphere of the two layers differ like night and day. The top layer, or the rich section, offers a "paradise" of scenery and entertainment. It is here that the wealthy can enjoy a theatrical performance of the play, LOVELESS. Meanwhile if you take a trip to the bottom layer of Midgar aptly named the Slums, you will see the home of the impoverished citizens. Homes made from the rubble of the eight ruined cities that Midgar was built upon. But there are a couple locations that offer a ray of light; a small church in Sector 5 with possibly the only garden in the entire Slums and 7th Heaven, a bar owned by a Ms. Tifa Lockhart. For the more adult visitor, Wall Market is the location to stop at. Home to services of the perverted nature, Wall Market also has shops and an inn to rest at.
Wutai
Important Places in Wutai:
1. Wutai Village
2. Materia Caves
3. Da Chao Mountain
Wutai used to be a powerful and independent nation until a war against the Shinra Electric Power Company. Wutai Village is now a tourist location and resort. Walking among the buildings and examining the architecture, you can see images of the nation's guardian Leviathan. If you feel like trekking up Da Chao Mountain, you will find the statue and a breath-taking view of the land. The Materia Caves are a good stop if hiking and tourist attractions aren't your thing. With the help of a gold chocobo, you might be able to find the ultimate summon materia, Knights of the Round. Others you might find are the ever helpful Mime and Quadra Magic materia.
The world of Final Fantasy VII offers a vast variety of locations worth a visit. The ones mentioned above are special for numerous reasons; their rich history or entertainment value.
