3 Personality Traits That Can Make It Harder To Get A Girlfriend

While it may never be as easy as you would hope it would be

, there are certainly things that get in the way of getting a girlfriend that can make it harder. Personality traits that you might have might actually make it a little harder to find someone you match up with, and could turn off those women that are initially attracted to you.

While I'd never suggest that someone totally change their personality, a little tweak here and there never really hurt anyone. You might just find that one of the little tweaks that you make suddenly makes things go a lot better for you.

Here are 3 personality traits that are going to make it harder for you to get a girlfriend that you may want to tone down if you can:

1) Correcting people all of the time when you are in a conversation with them.

Ever been around someone like this? How quickly did you feel like getting away from them? You might think you were showing off your intelligence if you started to correct a woman or other people when you are around her, but for a lot of women - that is going to be an instant turn off. Plus, you don't really become the kind of guy that a woman would want to have tag along when she is going out to have a good time with friends. She'll probably be afraid that you correct them and end up alienating her from the people she likes to hang out with.

2) Being negative about anything and everything.

By no means would I suggest that you become the exact opposite and become positive every moment of every day. However, if you want to give off a good vibe and make women feel like it is fun to be around you and you can't help but to be negative about anything and everything... I doubt that is going to be how they feel. You can't help but feel like all of the energy is getting drained out of you when you are around someone who is negative ALL of the time and about EVERYTHING and that usually makes you want to get as far away from them as possible. That's the way that most women are going to react if you are that guy who just complains and whines all night long.

3) Expecting the woman to lead and make all of the decisions.

You don't have to try so hard to be an alpha male that you end up dominating a woman and making her feel like she can't make any decision at all. That extreme is also going to end up working against you. However, doing the all too passive thing is also bad most of the time. I am sure that there are some exceptions to that, but most of the time if you end up looking like a guy who needs the woman to do all of the leading and decision making - you'll end up with a lot of free time on your hands.
