The other method is through affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketng is basically a fancy term for promoting others' products and getting a commission in case of a sale. This commission can be sometimes as high as 75%. The best part about affiliate marketing is that you don't have to deal with any inventory, customer service, etc. - this is all handled by the vendor whose products you are promoting.

Another method is by selling text links or ad space on your blog. This method is feasible only if a significant number of people visit your blogs. In marketing lingo, it is called eCPM method - i.e., you can charge a flat rate per thousand impressions or page views. Most of the big blogs such as TechCrunch, Huffington Post, etc. make money through this method.
