There are some reasons are not going to the gym which are acceptable
. The following four aren't.
1."The Gym is expensive" - the average annual gym membership is about $300 which does sound like quite a lot to spend on working out stop however a daily two dollar coffee on the way to work every day adds up to a massive $522. So an average $.82 per day on your gym membership is a fairly small price for feeling and looking good.
2. "I don't have the time" - the average person according to a study watchers three hours and 48 minutes of television a day. That's over 26 hours of TV watching every week. To put that into perspective that's over a whole day. Surely you can spare 45 minutes every other day to get fit and look after your body.
3. "I don't know what to do when I'm at the gym" - it is true that going to the gym without a plan as to what you will do is pointless - you're probably just wander around a bit, then knock out a few too heavy weight reps before calling it a day - but it's not difficult to make a workout plan. Just look online at any major health website and you will find detailed plans provided for you.
4. "I'm too tired" - the main reason for chronic tiredness is a lack of regular exercise. You therefore need to stop this vicious cycle. When you are unfit you are more susceptible to tiredness and therefore less likely to train.
Training is important to your physical and mental well-being. Don't let any one of these four lame excuses stop you going to the gym.
