4 Tips on Getting Your Email Subscribers' Trust Quickly

If you want your list building efforts to be effective - in that your subscribers

will do anything that you tell them to (and that includes clicking on links to purchase products/services), you first need to get their trust.

It is perfectly normal for your email subscribers to, when they first sign up, they do not fully trust you. Think of it this way - Will you be able to trust a complete stranger the minute you meet him/her? Of course not! The same goes for your list subscribers.

What I am going to do in this post is to share 4 tips on how you can get your email subscribers' trust quickly - The quicker you get their trust, the faster you will be able to get the results you want from your list building efforts.

1. Introduce Yourself

One of the very initial emails that you send out to your subscribers should be a self-introduction email.

And in that email, it should contain more information about yourself, for example - how long have you been in the niche market that you are in right now, what ignites your interest in this market the very first place, your expertise in the market, and how you can help them.

I know it is virtually impossible for you to talk about everything about yourself in one single email - You may want to break up into 2 or 3 emails (and in between these emails you want to have informational emails where you provide them with some tips, tricks, or techniques relating to the niche market, so that your emails will not get too boring).

2. Show Your Subscribers You Know Your Stuff

What you can do here is to send them emails occasionally (one email every 3 to 4 days) with some information on the niche that you are in - It can be providing them with tips, tricks or techniques, or you can start a discussion and get response from your list subscribers (by getting them to hit on the reply button to respond to your discussion).

Also, you may want to, from time to time, invite your subscribers to ask you any questions that they have. After you have gotten their questions, make sure that you either respond to them directly in separate emails, or you can compile the answers in one single email and send out to everyone in your list (so that everyone can benefit).

3. Be True To Your Subscribers

People hate dishonest individuals (myself included). What you should do here is to be frank with your opinion. If you think that a certain product is not as good as it seems, do not try to hype them up and sell to your customers (just for the sake of you being able to generate profits from every single sale).

And if you provide guarantees (such as money back guarantee or email-response guarantee) for your products/services, make sure you fulfill them.

That way, you will be able to gain their full trust (in that you are an honest individual) and by having their full trust, you can be sure that they will most likely listen to you (when it comes to the niche market), along with your product/service recommendations.

4. Provide An Unsubscribe Link

You have to understand the fact that there is absolutely no way you can cater to all your subscribers.

What you provide in your emails may be useful to some, but not to all. Some of them may find that the contents you have delivered unsuitable for them and as such, they do not wish to receive emails from you anymore.

Make sure you have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email you send out to your list subscribers, so that they can unsubscribe to your list if they do not wish to receive anymore correspondences from you.

In fact, it is a must that you include a unsubscribe link at the end of every single email you sent out to your subscribers.

I hope that, by following the 4 tips that I have just shared with you above, you will be able to quickly gain your email subscribers' trust.

Are there any other tips that you have which will help one gain trust from their subscribers quickly? If you do, please feel free to share in the comments box below...
